The new season of Liquigas-Doimo will start during the southern summer. The green and blue team chose Argentina and Australia to debut in 2010, taking part in Tour de San Luis (from 18th to 24th January) and Tour Down Under (from 19th to 24th January).

On Saturday 9th the first green and blue group, leaded by directeur sportif Dario Mariuzzo, will leave to the kangaroo’s land. Seven riders will face a route good for sprinters: eyes focused upon promising young Jacopo Guarnieri, at his second year as professional and winner of a stage at Tour de Pologne 2009, and Fabio Sabatini. At their side will stand five new riders: Tiziano Dall’Antonia, Mauro Finetto and neoprofessionals Kristjan Koren, Maciej Paterski and Peter Sagan.

On Sunday 10th January the second line-up, at the orders of directeur sportif Mario Scirea, will fly to South America. On the Argentinian route Liquigas-Doimo will be leaded by Vincenzo Nibali, the first captain of the team that debut in 2010. Together with him will be present Valerio Agnoli, Francesco Chicchi (point of reference for sprint arrival), new riders Davide Cimolai and Robert Kiserlovski, Brian Bach Vandborg.
