Eight riders of team Liquigas, on Thursday 18th, will be in Koper for the departure of the Tour de Slovénie, short stages race that will end on Sunday 21st June in Novo Mesto.

To face the 702 kilometres of the route, divided in four stages, directeur sportif Stefano Zanatta has selected a polyvalent line-up, able to exploit the variety of the Slovenian grounds and Thursday 18th, will be in Kopetto win more stages as possible. Valerio Agnoli, Vladimir Miholjevic and the home rider Gorazd Stangelj could be in front line when the street will rise, while Maciej Bodnar, Murilo Fischer and Frederik Willems will be the long distance rider in charge to dictate the rhythm on the plain. Francesco Chicchi and Jacopo Guarnieri will look to the sprint arrival, as the first did in the fourth stage of the 2008 edition.
