The first two races of the triptych of the Ronde Van Drenthe, the Drenthe 8 van Dwingeloo and the Novilon Eurocup Ronde van Drenthe, have gone and there's satisfaction in the team for the performance of all the girls: Martine Bras was eighth in the first race but also the other girls showed a great compactness and a growing shape. Should be noted especially the beautiful proofs of young Giada Borgato, who tried a long escape in Drenthe 8 van Dwingeloo, and Oxana Kozonchuk, who was an excellent support for Bras in yesterday's race while today she attacked couple of times bet without luck.
«Surely we can be happy - says the sports director Fortunato Lacquaniti - because the girls have proved to be a very united group. Yesterday Giada tried a breakaway in a long and windy race while Oxana today tried several attack but the group has always close the gap. Now we will focus on the World Cup event on monday and Martine Bras wll be our leader: she is strong and a place among the top 10 is completely within her grasp.»
