Sunday in Cittiglio, Varese, there will be the first race of the UCI World Cup, a challenge that contains ten of the most important and prestigious races of the international scene: the Trofeo Alfredo Binda-Cittiglio will be the only World Cup event on italian soil and also for this reason the girls are very motivated and they want to do well. For the white-blue team will start Luperini, Bras, Corneo, Kozonchuk, Presti and Romoli: dutch Martine Bras and the young italian talent Marina Romoli are on good shape and in Costa Etrusca they both got some comforting results, but obviously we have to notice also the presence of Fabiana Luperini, because the italian champion the Tuscan champion has repeatedly proven to be competitive even if the shape is far from being the best.
«The girls are strong - said team president Walter Ricci Petitoni - and we want to honor this test italian World Cup race: some of our girls are not yet on top form but we will show what we're made of». Along the 120 km of the race, the girls will also be encouraged by Giordano Ghezzi, the owner of the company that, from this season, is one of the main sponsors of the team.
